WWE
On April 18, WWE will present the card for WrestleMania 42 Saturday from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The results of the matches on this first night of Mania could alter the landscape of WWE moving forward.
From titles changing hands to the culmination of long term grudges, these results will be very interesting to the future of the entire company coming out of ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
Here are our potential spoilers and predictions for the WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday (Night One) results.
LA Knight & The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) vs. IShowSpeed & The Vision (Logan Paul & Austin Theory)
On the March 30 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Vision defeated The Usos to win the World Tag Team Championship thanks in large part to interference from IShowSpeed.
After being pulled over the barricade by Logan Paul, Speed picked up his brass knuckles and accidentally knocked out LA Knight.
Then, those same brass knuckles led to Paul and Austin Theory capturing the World Tag Team Championship.
Following another run-in with Speed, Knight and The Usos challenged Speed and The Vision to a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania 42.
Despite training together ahead of ‘The Show of Shows,’ it feels like Speed and The Vision are destined to get their comeuppance when they face Knight and The Usos on Mania Saturday.
Prediction: LA Knight & The Usos
Betting favorite: LA Knight & The Usos
Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu – Unsanctioned Match
Back on the January 9 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Jacob Fatu made his return looking for revenge against the individual he believed attacked him last year in Drew McIntyre, but he instead helped his rival beat Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Wanting to make things right, Fatu came out to make sure McIntyre did not cheat during the rematch on the March 6 SmackDown which led to Rhodes regaining the title ahead of WrestleMania 42.
Since then, Fatu and McIntyre have been at each other’s throats with a series of brawls on Friday Night SmackDown every single week.
After falling off a scaffolding together, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis had no choice but to announce an Unsanctioned Match between McIntyre and Fatu for WrestleMania 42.
With this match taking place on ESPN2, it is guaranteed to be a physical and violent affair that should settle the score between ‘The Scottish Warrior’ and ‘The Samoan Werewolf.’
Bringing things to their natural conclusion, Fatu should overcome McIntyre to pick up arguably the biggest win in his WWE run on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
Prediction: Jacob Fatu

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) (c) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella)
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship picture has been one of the most competitive of any title in the company right now.
On the February 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Irresistible Forces defeated RHIYO to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Since then, Nia Jax and Lash Legend have defended the titles against the likes of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, The Bella Twins and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in matches that all ended in disqualification.
This has led to a four-way match being announced with these duos on WrestleMania 42 Saturday in Las Vegas.
While Jax and Legend have been fighting champions, it seems like the odds are against them at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’
Bayley and Lyra have made for a well-oiled machine as of late and could redeem themselves for not being able to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at last year’s WrestleMania 41.
Prediction: Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
Betting favorite: Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch
Back in September 2025, AJ Lee made her return to WWE for the first time in a decade and kickstarted a rivalry with Becky Lynch in the process.
Since then, Lee made Lynch tap out in a mixed tag team match at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025 and then in the Women’s WarGames at Survivor Series 2025.
Finally, AJ made Becky submit for a third time to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber 2026.
After overcoming Lynch time and time again, ‘The Man’ attacked Lee to get in her head after her first successful defense of the Women’s IC Title on Monday Night Raw.
This led to AJ challenging Becky to another fight, with Lynch stating that she would only have that match at WrestleMania 42.
With everything they have done to one another over the past seven months, it feels like the right time for Becky to finally defeat AJ and win back the gold.
Prediction: Becky Lynch
Betting favorite: Becky Lynch
Seth Rollins vs. GUNTHER
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, a masked man started to attack Bron Breakker and the rest of The Vision.
Following the Rumble, Breakker suffered a hernia that required emergency surgery that has kept him sidelined for the past few months.
Making the group’s lives a living hell, this masked man was eventually revealed to be The Vision’s former leader Seth Rollins after costing Logan Paul the men’s Elimination Chamber at the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event.
After the Chamber PLE, Rollins started to attack Paul Heyman, which eventually led to GUNTHER inserting himself into things when he attacked ‘The Visionary’ on the March 30 edition of Monday Night Raw.
This led to a singles showdown between Rollins and GUNTHER being announced for WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday. After the match was made official, ‘The Ring General’ let Heyman know that he would owe him a favor for taking care of his problem.
With GUNTHER letting it be known that this is more about proving himself as the best, it should be ‘The Career Killer’ who takes down Rollins in this encounter at ‘The Show of Shows.’
Prediction: GUNTHER
Betting favorite: GUNTHER
WWE Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Liv Morgan won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and punched her ticket for WrestleMania 42.
After weeks of contemplation, Morgan decided to choose Stephanie Vaquer to challenge for the WWE Women’s World Championship at Mania.
Since then, Morgan and Vaquer have been embroiled in an intense battle with one another that has seen the two trading barbs and vicious attacks.
The April 6 episode of WWE Raw saw Vaquer attack Morgan from behind, making the Judgment Day crack skulls with Roxanne Perez.
This led to Liv coming after Stephanie in another assault, which led to a heated brawl that stoked the fire between these two women.
While ‘La Primera’ is more than ready for this showdown, Liv Morgan feels more determined than ever to not only beat Vaquer, but also win the WWE Women’s World Championship on Mania Saturday.
Prediction: Liv Morgan
Betting favorite: Liv Morgan
Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton
At the WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 premium live event, Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Trick Williams, LA Knight and Je’Von Evans to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.
While it looked like Orton would challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship, there were more twists and turns to come in this title picture.
Rhodes defeated McIntyre to win the Undisputed WWE Championship on the March 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Then the following week, Orton turned heel on Rhodes in a brutal and bloody beatdown that made things even more intense heading into their title clash at WrestleMania 42.
After weeks of phone calls, Orton’s mystery supporter was revealed to be Pat McAfee, who has been hellbent on saving the business by making sure ‘The Viper’ wins his 15th world title.
The road to Mania has also seen Jelly Roll get involved by first trying to play peacemaker between Orton and Rhodes before ‘The Legend Killer’ delivered an RKO to the country music star.
Despite Rhodes being more than prepared for the challenge at hand, it feels like Orton has too much going for him and should win the Undisputed WWE Championship at Mania one way or another.
Prediction: Randy Orton
Betting favorite: Randy Orton
