WWE
Jey Uso agrees that he has had the best aura in WWE over the past year, saying nobody else on the roster can compare to his entrance.
Uso had a highlight year in 2025, winning the Royal Rumble match and then defeating GUNTHER at WrestleMania 41 for the World Heavyweight Championship.
He was also named as having the top aura in WWE in 2025, an achievement that he agrees with.
Speaking on It Is What It Is, he said:
“Have you seen the arenas when I come out? I don’t think anybody in WWE has that right now. I don’t think they’ve got that crowd participation the way I do. They don’t.
“They might call me an entrance, but man, I worked hard to even get to that level of having all that, if that makes sense.
“I love it, man. As long as my kids are with me – I mean just the kids out there, that’s what it’s all about.”

When asked how he created that connection with the fans, Jey Uso replied:
“It took steps. I was at the drawing board every night. I was by myself. I was always with my brother Jim my whole career, and then I split, traveling by myself, taking plane rides by myself, training by myself.
“It was just stages, and then the ‘Yeet’ came, they started vibing with this. The ‘Yeet,’ that’s a Bay Area word from back in the day. It was really, ‘Yee,’ no ‘t’. But I just ran with it.
“Focused on the kids for sure. Bright colors, you’ve gotta look like somewhat of a superhero.”

WWE Fans Divided On Jey Uso
There’s no denying that Jey Uso has a connection with the fans at WWE events and his entrances are a spectacle, but there’s undoubtedly a section of fans who failed to get behind him.
Uso winning the Royal Rumble and becoming World Heavyweight Champion may have been a step too far, as his in-ring game often came unstuck compared to others at the top of the card at a time when it matters the most.
He is now back in his tag team with Jimmy Uso, and while that isn’t inherently a bad thing, it does go to show that there wasn’t much staying power to Jey being a top level main event singles star.
