Stephanie McMahon has again commented on the possibility – or lack thereof – of a return to the ring in WWE.
McMahon’s last match came at WrestleMania 34 in April 2018, when she and husband Triple H were defeated by Kurt Angle and the debuting Ronda Rousey.
She’s officially only had 25 matches in total, with the vast majority of those coming between 1999 and 2003.
Prior to WWE Evolution in July, McMahon was asked on the pre-show panel by Big E if she would consider getting back in the ring to mix it up with the current women’s roster – an idea McMahon shot down.
She has now commented again, saying on the What’s Your Story podcast:
“Big E asked me on the pre-show, he goes, ‘So do you have one more match in you?’ And I’m like, ‘No.’
“I’m like, ‘Have you seen this division? I will embarrass myself and the business if I try to hang with these women.'”

McMahon was talking on the podcast to Nikki Bella, who herself has made an in-ring return after not wrestling regularly for several years.
Bella’s six matches so far in 2025 is the most she’s had in a calendar year since 2018, when she had eight.
