Trick Williams and Lil Yachty have dropped a new ‘Gingerbread Man’ diss track on Sami Zayn ahead of their match at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Trick Williams is set to make his first-ever WrestleMania appearance this Sunday, when he faces off against Sami Zayn for the United States Championship.
Sami took the United States Championship from Carmelo Hayes on the March 27 episode of SmackDown to set up the encounter with Trick, with Lil Yachty now in the corner of Trick Williams.
Trick Williams & Lil Yachty Drop ‘Gingerbread Man’ Diss Track
Ahead of WrestleMania 42 this Sunday, Trick Williams and Lil Yachty have officially teamed up to release a new diss track on Sami, which you can see below.
The song, titled ‘Gingerbread Man’ is not the first time Trick has written a diss track on one of his WWE rivals, with him also previously releasing tracks aimed at Ethan Page, Joe Hendry and Mike Santana during his time in NXT and TNA.
Will Trick Williams Become United States Champion At WrestleMania 42?
With Trick Williams already catching fire on the WWE main roster since his official call up back in January, it seems as though WWE may strap the rocket to him, and crown him the new United States Champion at WrestleMania 42.
Trick’s victory would be a statement win, with his continued rise having a championship with it to boot, however, there are other potential options in play with the ongoing story between he and Sami on SmackDown.
With Sami Zayn’s reactions become more negative in recent weeks, it seems as though WWE is headed towards a double turn with Sami and Trick, with Williams becoming an official babyface while Sami flips to the heel side.
To really cement a double turn at WrestleMania, the logical outcome would be for Sami to continue to get heat from the fans by cheating to beat the popular rising star, denying him his first championship on the WWE main roster.
After WrestleMania, Trick would continue the chase, this time as a full babyface, making his crowning moment even bigger when the time comes.
WWE has two clear options, and can’t really go wrong choosing either one at WrestleMania, but with Oba Femi also looking for a statement win, anointing two future top stars in the same night will be an opportunity hard to pass up.
