There has been an update on CM Punk’s internal WWE status following his Survivor Series return and Raw promo.
Punk made his first appearance on Raw in nearly 10 years on this week’s show, when he closed out the show with a promo.
Punk was, obviously, not assigned to a brand in the recent draft, so which show, if any, he would be assigned to was not known.
Per PWInsider, Punk is listed internally on the WWE roster as a free agent, which means he would be eligible to appear on any of the brands, even NXT if he so wished.
Randy Orton, who also returned at Survivor Series, is seemingly also a free agent, with him set to appear on this week’s SmackDown show, as well as Raw.
Other free agents include Brock Lesnar, United States Champion Logan Paul, Von Wagner and Omos.
