Former WWE Star Set To Return To Another Company WWE

A former WWE star is set to return to an independent promotion.

At MLW Battle Riot V, Snisky, formerly known as Gene Snitsky in WWE, made his debut for the company in the titular match.

Now, the former WWE star will be heading back to Major League Wrestling at the upcoming television tapings on Saturday, July 8.

The company is also set to host their Never Say Never pay-per-view event on Saturday, July 8. It is currently unclear if the promotion will tape episodes of their weekly show or if it will be a separate event.

MLW wrote the following on their website:

MLW today announced Gene Snisky will compete on the FUSION TV taping portion of the July 8 Never Say Never event Saturday, July 8 at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.

After surprising the wrestling world with his return to the squared circle in Battle RIOT V (watch), the 6’8” brute will make his MLW debut in singles competition July 8.

Snisky will compete as part of the FUSION portion of the card.

Promising pain, Snisky cautions “it’s not my fault” for the bedlam he vows to unleash as he enters MLW.
