“No way, Steve Austin is appearing on SmackDown, that’s pretty cool,” I thought to myself. Then, I read the rest of the tweet and saw that he’s actually only appearing something called the SmackDown Kick-Off Show, whatever that is.
Tonight is the “Season Premiere” of SmackDown, a show famous for not having seasons, and FOX is going all out to try and pop a good rating.
As you can see from the below tweet, Stone Cold Steve Austin is not the only special guest appearing on the Kick-Off Show, as footballer George Kittle and baseball player David Ortiz will also be on it.

SmackDown itself has a pretty stacked card, with Roman Reigns defending the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan will be making his return, The Street Profits defend against Roode and Ziggler, and The New Day will have their farewell match.
So tune in to FOX half an hour or so before SmackDown to see Steve Austin pretend to care about the SmackDown Season Premiere.
