Here’s what happened in the newly decorated NXT arena after last night’s relaunch edition of the show went off the air.
The final segment on the show was the wedding of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis, leaving everyone with a feel-good moment after a very different show than we’re used to.
After the show went off the air, a few of the brand’s top names took to the microphone in front of the crowd.
According to Jay Reddick, who was at the show, on Twitter, former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano led the charge and put over the rest of the NXT locker room.
His pregnant wife Candice LeRae and Cameron Grimes joined in, before Shawn Michaels came out to have some fun too.
It has emerged that Vince McMahon and WWE lead writer Ed Koskey reviewed the script for last night’s show, with it being the first of the new version of WWE’s developmental brand.
After the show went off the air, Johnny Gargano talked up the future of NXT and put over the rest of the locker room, with help from LeRae, Grimes and a surprise Shawn Michaels sighting #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/J1U1nbbyBC
