Last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw the last chance four-way tag team match to earn a spot in the semi-finals of the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
The match saw Natalya & Sonya Deville defeat Shotzi & Xia Li, Dana Brooke & Tamina and Nikki A.S.H and Doudrop to earn the right to face Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah later in the night.
One of the big spots in the match saw Dana Brooke superplex Nikki to the outside onto the waiting pile of enemies. After the spot, Nikki immediately grabbed her ankle, taking a rough landing on the fall up against the barricade.
Fan video then surfaced of medical staff helping Nikki on the ramp after the match, before they and Doudrop carried her to the back.
No injury has been announced to Nikki, so hopefully it’s not a major issue and she won’t miss much if any ring time.
WWE teased a break up between Nikki and Doudrop on last night’s SmackDown show, though you may have missed it if you weren’t paying close enough attention, as they were seen arguing in the background of Natalya and Sonya Deville’s interview.
