AEW’s Ruby Soho appeared to suffer an injury during the All Out pay-per-view Zero Hour pre-show.
In the first match of the Zero Hour, Soho & Ortiz challenged for Tay Melo & Sammy Guevara’s AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship. Soho & Ortiz had ambushed the couple before the match, driving into Guevara before making their way to the ring.
During the bout, Soho appeared to land hard on her neck after receiving a tag maneuver from the reigning champions. While fans were initially concerned, Soho continued on.
Tay Melo ultimately picked up the victory for her and Guevara, pinning Ruby Soho after a signature Tay-KO kick. Soho grabbed her face immediately after taking the kick, and had to be re-adjusted before the referee could count the pin.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider confirmed that Soho’s nose was broken during the final moments of the bout.
We will continue to provide updates on Ruby Soho as they become available.
We wish Soho a safe and healthy recovery.
