Former WWE star Alexander Wolfe (Axel Tischer) has revealed that there were at one point plans to reunite his SAnitY faction in WWE.
Wolfe, Eric Young, Killian Dain (Big Damo) and Nikki Cross gained a lot of popularity during their NXT run as a chaotic faction.
The group was called up to the main roster without Cross in June 2018, before Young was moved to Raw and Wolfe to NXT UK in 2019, disbanding the group.
On the Developmentally Speaking podcast, Wolfe noted that there were originally plans to reform the group for a rivalry with Imperium on NXT, before the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to this idea.
Wolfe recalled:
“There was actually a plan to re-form SAnitY.
“The plan later was they would separate me from Imperium, because I would be the weak link.
“Then in that time also, they would re-form SAnitY with Killian Dain and Eric Young, and they would win the NXT tag team gold.
“In that case, they would go on to feud with Imperium, and I would join SAnitY.
“We would have a feud against Imperium, and then we would go back to U.S. NXT.”
As of writing, Nikki Cross is currently the only former member of SAnitY who is still signed with WWE.
Eric Young was originally released by WWE in April 2020, before Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain’s departures in May and June 2021 respectively.
Young has since returned to and left WWE, which you can read more about right here.
