With quite a few weeks ahead of WWE Night of Champions 2026, there are some different characters who could see a change of heart.

There are a few heels on the WWE roster that could see the light and turn babyface in the coming weeks.

These babyface turns may have altered the entire landscape of WWE and how Night of Champions 2026 will look on Saturday, June 27.

Here are six potential babyface turns before WWE Night of Champions 2026.

6. Chad Gable

At AAA Noche de Los Grandes, El Grande Americano defeated The Original El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask Match.

Following the match, The Original El Grande was revealed to be Chad Gable, taking off the mask for the first time in over a year.

Then on the June 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Gable made a surprise appearance and showed remorse for his actions in making a mockery of lucha libre.

Gable completing his redemption arc and turning babyface as a result should be interesting to watch unfold over the next few weeks heading into WWE Night of Champions 2026.

5. Los Americanos (El Grande, Bravo & Rayo Americano)

Speaking of the Mask vs. Mask Match, El Grande Americano has become the most popular star in all of Lucha Libre AAA.

The luchador and his friends, Los Americanos usually garner some of the loudest cheers from the fans in Mexico.

During his rivalry with The Original El Grande Americano, El Grande and Los Americanos were positioned as the heels on WWE Raw in recent months.

Los Americanos turning babyface should be the next step in their characters in the United States where it lines up properly with what was being done in the United States for WWE.

4. Johnny Gargano

Over the past several months, fans have seen a difference in the character of Johnny Gargano on WWE TV.

“Johnny Wrestling” has been seen depressed, lying face down in backstage segments on Friday Night SmackDown.

The former NXT Champion is someone who has long been one of the most popular underdog babyfaces over the past decade.

Gargano turning babyface and embracing his “Rebel Heart” once again would be fitting to bring back the passion that made him “Johnny Wrestling” in the first place.

3. Lash Legend

Since getting called up to the WWE main roster, Lash Legend has aligned herself with Nia Jax to form The Irresistible Forces.

Rodriguez turning babyface with a potential Queen of the Ring Finals match against her Judgment Day stablemate could make for a dramatic moment that shifts the dynamics in the group moving forward.

Speaking of The Judgment Day, the member of the stable who may be on the cusp of turning babyface more than Raquel Rodriguez is Roxanne Perez.

After The Judgment Day chose to turn on Finn Balor, it seemed like Perez questioned her place in the faction.

While Liv Morgan has continued to stress that the group is a family, Roxanne has showcased her doubts in The Judgment Day and whether she has a future with them.
