Now that AEW Double Or Nothing 2026 is in the books, all eyes will now point towards the next pay-per-view on the calendar, Forbidden Door 2026.

In collaboration with New Japan Pro Wrestling, STARDOM and CMLL, this upcoming major show will have plenty of new stars making their first appearance at the event and in the weeks leading into Forbidden Door.

This could all start with the May 27 edition of AEW Dynamite and Collision from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Here are eight potential debuts on AEW Dynamite ahead of Forbidden Door 2026.

8. Sareee

The Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments got started at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2026 pay-per-view.

In the Women’s Tournament, there will be stars from other promotions competing for the AEW Women’s World Title shot at All In: London 2026.

On the right hand side of the bracket, Skye Blue will face one of the best Joshi wrestlers in the world today, Sareee.

The former IWGP Women’s Champion has appeared in Ring of Honor, but she has never stepped in an AEW ring, so this tournament bout will serve as her in-ring debut for the company and could go down on the May 27 Dynamite and Collision.

7. Dani Luna

Dani Luna was granted her release from TNA Wrestling on March 31, 2026

In March 2026, Dani Luna ended her two and a half year run with TNA Wrestling when her contract expired.

Over the course of her time in TNA and across the independent scene. Luna established herself one of the more underrated female stars in wrestling today.

The former TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion is someone who has felt underutilized and might be able to find a bigger spotlight in All Elite Wrestling.

With AEW introducing a Wild Card entrant in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Dani Luna could make her debut in the company as the opponent for Alex Windsor on the May 27 AEW Dynamite and Collision.

6. Charlie (Dakota Kai)

In May 2025, Dakota Kai was one of the most surprising WWE releases during their mass talent cuts.

After nearly a year away from the business, Kai, now known as Charlie, made her in-ring return against Kris Statlander at the EVE: Wrestle Queendom VIII event.

This contest helped Charlie get a stamp of approval from not only Statlander, but also Will Ospreay.

Whether it be as the Wild Card in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament or immediately inserting her in the TBS Title scene, Charlie could be an excellent addition to the AEW women’s division and quickly cement herself as a key player.

5. Los Hermanos Chavez (Àngel de Oro & Niebla Roja)

AEW Forbidden Door 2026 will see the company not only collaborate with New Japan Pro Wrestling like all the previous years since 2022, but they will also be working with CMLL and STARDOM for this show.

Looking at the CMLL roster, there are plenty of top talent in the company that have not been able to appear in All Elite Wrestling.

The current CMLL World Tag Team Champions Los Hermanos Chavez are among the names on the roster who could make their debut ahead of AEW Forbidden Door 2026.

Àngel de Oro and Niebla Roja are one of the best tag teams in all of wrestling today and could be formidable opponents for the major duos in AEW, such as The Young Bucks, FTR and AEW World Tag Team Champions Cope and Cage.

4. Soberano Jr.

Speaking of CMLL, one of the most popular stars in the entire Mexican promotion right now is Soberano Jr.

Usually garnering some of the loudest reactions during the Arena Mexico shows, especially from the female fans, Soberano Jr. have put himself in the upper echelon of CMLL.

With his exciting style and good looks despite being in a mask, Soberano Jr. feels like someone who could be a tantalizing rival for anyone on the AEW roster.

Considering AEW Forbidden Door 2026 is weeks away, Soberano Jr. could make his debut on the May 27 Dynamite and Collision to potentially kickstart a feud with his dream opponent, Andrade El Idolo.

3. Starlight Kid

Starlight Kid is widely regarded as one of the best on the World Wonder Ring STARDOM roster right now.

The former Wonder of Stardom Champion has made a name for himself with her fast paced in-ring style and natural charisma.

SLK coming into All Elite Wrestling would be very interesting considering her history with some of the stars in the company, such as AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla.

With the TBS Title now vacant, AEW could bring Starlight Kid in early to compete to become the new champion on the May 27 edition of AEW Dynamite and Collision.

2. Saya Kamitani

When it comes to World Wonder Ring STARDOM, there is no bigger star in the promotion right now than Saya Kamitani.

“The Phenex Queen” has the elusive aura that many fans always talk about and has emerged as the biggest star in all of Joshi wrestling.

Recently, STARDOM announced a partnership with Major League Wrestling that will see Kamitani on the upcoming MLW shows in New York and Philadelphia in June.

The former World of Stardom Champion could make a surprise appearance on the May 27 AEW Dynamite and Collision to insert herself in the mix ahead of the AEW Forbidden Door 2026 event.

1. Knockout Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice)

New Japan Pro Wrestling has undergone a transformative year following the retirement of Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 in January.

The likes of Yota Tsuji, Callum Newman, Yuya Uemura and Shota Umino have solidified themselves in the upper echelon of the company at this time, but there might not be a more popular act in the promotion on the level of The Knockout Brothers.

Yuto-Ice and OSKAR returned to NJPW at the G1 Climax 35 Finals event and have since become one of the most dominant IWGP Tag Team Champions in recent memory.

After cementing themselves as the future of the company, AEW should make The Knockout Brothers a major part of the Forbidden Door 2026 build and immediately showcase them on the May 27 Dynamite and Collision from Philadelphia.
