On August 1 and 2, WWE will present the SummerSlam 2026 premium live event from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

With this being one of the biggest shows across two nights, WWE is planning on this to be a stacked card.

From title matches to feuds coming to a conclusion, SummerSlam 2026 has all the makings to be something truly special in just a few short weeks.

Here are our predictions for the card for WWE SummerSlam 2026.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were initially set to face off at WrestleMania 42 prior to Rollins’ injury at Crown Jewel 2025

When he made his return to WWE at the start of 2026, Seth Rollins made it perfectly clear that he had his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship that he never lost last year.

At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Rollins defeated Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage Match to put his feud with The Vision to bed.

Now that The Vision is in his rearview mirror, Rollins can now focus on his former Shield brethren and greatest rival Roman Reigns.

Considering these two men have plenty of unfinished business stemming from their feud in 2025, Reigns and Rollins can finally prove who is the better man at WWE SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis.

WWE Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY

IYO SKY chose Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan as her SummerSlam opponent following her Queen of the Ring victory

At WWE Night of Champions 2026, IYO SKY defeated Liv Morgan to win the Queen of the Ring Finals.

Immediately after the victory, SKY announced that she will be challenging Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

This became the first official match for the two-night WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.

Considering Danhausen cursed the champion ahead of the Queen of the Ring Finals, it means IYO has a high chance of overcoming the Judgment Day member at WWE SummerSlam 2026 this August.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. Michin & B-Fab vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

Paige and Brie Bella captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship in Paige’s return match at WrestleMania 42

Since capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, Paige and Brie Bella have been trying to prove that they still have a lot left in the tank.

The legendary duo has not backed down from any challenger for their titles and have tallied up a number of successful defenses.

Fatal Influence have emerged as a threat to this reign, while Michin and B-Fab have been gaining momentum in recent weeks.

Wanting to show that they will face any number of opponents, Paige and Brie can defend the titles against Michin and B-Fab as well as Fatal Influence at the WWE SummerSlam 2026 PLE.

WWE World Tag Team Championships: Street Profits (c) vs. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso)

The Street Profits began their fourth Tag Team Championship reign in WWE after defeating the Vision on this week’s WWE Raw in London

On the June 22 edition of Monday Night Raw, Street Profits defeated The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker to win the WWE World Tag Team Championships.

This marked the fifth tag team title reign for Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of their careers.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns wanted Jey Uso to win King of the Ring and bring the other title to The Bloodline, but Jey failed to beat Oba Femi at WWE Night of Champions 2026.

Now that he can not win the Undisputed WWE Championship, Jey might reunite with Jimmy Uso to go after Street Profits’ titles at the SummerSlam premium live event.

Jacob Fatu vs. LA Knight in a No DQ Match

WWE stars LA Knight and Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 41

Jacob Fatu and LA Knight previously met at WrestleMania 41, with Jacob winning the United States Championship from Knight

Over the past few weeks, LA Knight has become the most vocal detractor of The Bloodline.

This has led to Knight getting into with The Usos in recent weeks before Jacob Fatu attacked him on the June 22 WWE Raw.

After their recent interaction, fans could see Fatu and Knight rekindle their rivalry from 2025.

This time, Fatu could do battle with Knight in a No DQ Match at WWE SummerSlam 2026 to add to the violence and punishment these two men can inflict on one another.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Six Pack Challenge: Penta (c) vs. Ethan Page vs. Rusev vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable

WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta

Penta won the WWE Intercontinental Title from Dominik Mysterio on the March 2, 2026 episode of Raw

The WWE Intercontinental Championship picture on Monday Night Raw, has been increasingly busy throughout 2026. Penta’s reign has seen him face a number of different opponents over the past few months.

In recent weeks, Ethan Page and Rusev have been adamant about being next in line for a title shot, while the likes of Rey Mysterio and Je’Von Evans are coming off losses to Penta over the past month.

Then, there is Chad Gable, who has recently become a focal point of WWE Raw with his apology tour following his unmasking as The Original El Grande Americano at Noche de Los Grandes.

Penta defending the IC Title against Page, Rusev, Evans, Mysterio and Gable would make for an exciting, unpredictable all-out battle that could easily steal the show at SummerSlam 2026.

WWE United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

Trick Williams defeated Sami Zayn for the United States Championship back at WrestleMania 42

Trick Williams has become one of WWE’s fastest rising stars since getting called up to the main roster at the start of 2026.

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Williams defeated Sami Zayn to win the United States Championship. Elsewhere at the event, Drew McIntyre came up short against Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match.

Since that loss at Mania, McIntyre has been absent from WWE television, but recent reports have indicated that fans could see “The Scottish Warrior” making a return in the near future.

Trick defending the US Title against McIntyre at WWE SummerSlam 2026 would give him a high profile bout against a former world champion that will benefit his rise to the top of the company.

GUNTHER vs. Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis has yet to compete in a match since he signed with WWE as the SmackDown General Manager

At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Sami Zayn defeated GUNTHER and Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Following the event, GUNTHER got into a heated backstage confrontation with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.

Things got physical between the two men with both exchanging some shoves before security got involved.

“The Ring General” goading Aldis into the ring could be a very compelling story that may culminate with an in-ring showdown at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn

WWE's Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes

Sami Zayn finally became WWE Champion at Night of Champions after defeating Cody Rhodes

Since losing to Drew McIntyre at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Sami Zayn has been expressing his frustrations and getting into some intense disagreements with his friend Cody Rhodes.

This all led to Zayn defeating Rhodes and GUNTHER to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions 2026.

Despite winning the gold, Zayn may not still be the champion by the time WWE arrives in Minneapolis for SummerSlam 2026.

If that is the case, fans will want to see some resolution between Zayn and Rhodes, which could make for a very emotional grudge match on the card this August.

CM Punk vs. Randy Orton

WWE stars Randy Orton & CM Punk

CM Punk and Randy Orton both made their return to WWE at Survivor Series in 2023

Two major names who have been missing from WWE television since the WrestleMania 42 premium live event are CM Punk and Randy Orton.

On Night One of Mania, Orton came up short against Cody Rhodes with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. Meanwhile, Punk dropped the World Heavyweight Title to Roman Reigns on Night Two of “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

Recent reports have indicated that Punk is expected to return to WWE soon and will be part of the Friday Night SmackDown roster.

With Orton expected to be back in time for WWE SummerSlam 2026, there might not be a better option for his opponent at the show than CM Punk, making for an intriguing showdown between two of WWE’s biggest stars.

WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. This win came in large part thanks to an assist from Charlotte Flair who fought off Cargill’s associates, Michin and B-Fab.

Since then, Cargill has made Charlotte pay for this decision by costing her the Queen of the Ring Semifinals with a prematch assault alongside Michin and B-Fab.

Now after Flair returned to cost Jade her WWE Women’s United States Championship match against Tiffany Stratton at Night of Champions, it is clear these two ladies are on a collision course.

While she suffered an injury back at Clash In Italy, WWE could hold Rhea Ripley off until SummerSlam 2026 where she can defend her title in a three-way against both Charlotte and Jade.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Oba Femi

Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi are now tied in wins over each other following Lesnar’s win over Oba Femi at Clash In Italy

When WWE Night of Champions 2026 came to a close, Sami Zayn stood tall as the Undisputed WWE Champion for the first time in his career.

However, the show started with Oba Femi defeating Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring Finals and punch his ticket for a world title opportunity at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Waiting in the wings though, Brock Lesnar has been called out several times by Femi following his win over “The Ruler” at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

Beating Oba to the punch, Lesnar could be the one to dethrone Sami Zayn and go on to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship in his hometown of Minneapolis at SummerSlam 2026 against Femi in a final bout of their trilogy.
