WWE
On the May 15 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Danhausen appeared in a backstage segment where he was doing another experiment, looking to resurrect an unseen individual.
This has led to several different rumors regarding who could Danhausen be resurrecting or bringing back into the company.
From former champions to long absent names, this resurrected figure could truly be any number of options for WWE.
Here are six WWE stars to be potentially resurrected by Danhausen.
6. Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man was killed by Sami Zayn on the May 1 episode of WWE SmackDown
On the May 1 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Sami Zayn brutally attacked the Gingerbread Man costume that he used to assault Trick Williams and Lil Yachty.
As a way to get under Zayn’s skin, WIlliams sold this as Sami murdering the Gingerbread Man, which led to a funeral segment the week following.
Using the Gingerbread Man costume, Yachty was able to get some revenge on Zayn by the end of the funeral. In a digital exclusive, Trick and Yachty were seen throwing the costume in the trash only for Danhausen to find it and take it for himself.
Danhausen could now be trying to bring this Gingerbread Man to life in his own way to use to his benefit.
5. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin was called back up to SmackDown in 2024, where he formed a brief team with Apollo Crews
Immediately after this resurrection tease, it was reported that WWE has had discussions about bringing Baron Corbin back to the company.
Following this report, it seems like there have been more and more rumors regarding the former WWE star making his return.
Whether it be as himself or under a new character, Corbin, now known as Bishop Dyer, feels like someone who could make whatever this new Danhausen related persona work.
From Constable to Happy, Corbin has always proven to be a quality character worker who could shine in any role given to him even being resurrected by Danhausen.
4. Donovan Dijak

Dijak’s WWE contract expired just months after his return to the main roster, with him never making his return to television
Speaking of Baron Corbin, the former WWE United States Champion has aligned himself with Donovan Dijak in Major League Wrestling.
Dyer and Dijak, known as The Skyscrapers, are the current reigning MLW World Tag Team Champions.
After leaving WWE in 2024, Dijak has been able to thrive outside of the company, working with multiple promotions across the independent scene.
Wanting to revive his momentum within WWE, Dijak could make his return through the resurrection being done by Danhausen and play a totally different role than what he has done in the past.
3. Enzo Amore

Enzo Amore was reportedly backstage at the May 19 episode of WWE NXT
A name that hasn’t been mentioned too many times in regards to making a return to WWE over the years is Enzo Amore.
Despite the controversy that surrounded him upon his exit from the promotion, it seems like the door may be open a little bit for Amore to make his return.
During the May 19 WWE NXT TV taping, it was reported that Enzo was backstage at the Performance Center.
Looking to make his return to the company for the first time in over eight years, it could be the right time for Enzo Amore to come back in some role associated with this resurrection by Danhausen.
2. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman’s “Everything On The Menu” show continues to air on the USA Network in association with WWE
In May 2025, WWE had their yearly mass talent cuts with Braun Strowman being among the bigger names to get their release.
The former WWE Universal Champion is someone who has long been one of the more featured talents on the roster and took everything by surprise upon being let go.
With this tease of Danhausen resurrecting someone, it seems to indicate that it is a big man making their return to WWE in some form.
Strowman returning to work alongside Danhausen would be fitting and use his comedic chops to endear him to the fans upon coming back for what would be his third run with the company.
1. Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross competed in his final match for WWE back at SummerSlam 2025
Throughout 2025, it seemed like no star on the roster had risen more up the ranks than Karrion Kross.
With “We Want Kross” being hard in every arena he appeared in, it looked like Kross had become one of the most popular stars in the promotion.
Following SummerSlam 2025, Kross and his wife Scarlett left WWE after their contracts expired and have truly established themselves as a top act on the independent scene all over again.
While he is the current MLW World Heavyweight Champion, Kross may get an offer he can’t refuse to make their return and be resurrected by Danhausen in what would be a clash of characters that has to be seen.
