Zilla Fatu made his official WWE NXT debut last week, when he interfered in the main event between Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller.

Montana vs Waller was supposed to determine the Heatwave challenger for NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, who was at ringside for the match.

With the son of Umaga now officially in WWE, here are six potential debut opponents for Zilla Fatu.

6. Cruz Montana

Cruz Montana held the TNA World Champion twice as Mike Santana

As noted, Cruz Montana was one of the two men who fell victim to Zilla Fatu upon his debut last week.

It’s already been announced ahead of tonight’s WWE NXT that Montana will be calling out Fatu on the show.

That could potentially lead to a match between the two while Grayson Waller and Tony D’Angelo split off into an NXT Title match separately.

5. Grayson Waller

The other side of that would be for Waller and Fatu to split off into a match, while Montana and D’Angelo compete for the NXT Championship.

Ultimately that comes down to whether WWE and NXT management want Fatu to be a babyface or a heel.

If he’s to be a babyface, the better option is for him to face Waller. If he’s to be a heel, the better option is to face Montana.

4. Tony D’Angelo, Cruz Montana & Grayson Waller

Another possibility given the way Fatu’s debut transpired would be for him to immediately enter the NXT Title picture.

His arrival saw him take out the two men who were competing to become #1 contender, and then a face-off with champion Tony D’Angelo.

It’s unlikely that Fatu would instantly get a one-on-one match against D’Angelo, but this could easily lead to a four-way at WWE NXT Heatwave with all four men involved.

3. Ricky Saints

Looking now at potential WWE main roster debut opponents for Zilla Fatu, one option is Ricky Saints.

Fatu and Saints actually have a little bit of history going back to a Reality of Wrestling show in December 2025.

Saints attacked Fatu on that night, but they never actually ended up having a match – which could now come back around with both men in WWE.

2. Solo Sikoa

The conclusion of this week’s WWE Raw saw Solo Sikoa refuse to join the Bloodline, instead striking Roman Reigns with the Samoan Spike.

This has cemented Sikoa as a loveable babyface and continues his alliance with LA Knight in their fight against the Bloodline.

It’s long been expected that, as a member of the family, Zilla Fatu would ultimately end up in the Bloodline after he climbs the ranks in WWE.

If WWE wants to accelerate things, he could potentially be brought in to face Sikoa at the order of Reigns.

1. Jacob Fatu

On the other hand, now that one member of the Bloodline has stood up to Reigns, perhaps Zilla Fatu could follow and join Solo Sikoa’s side.

If that happens, he’ll find himself as an enemy of his cousin, Jacob Fatu.

Zilla and Jacob teamed together four times in GCW in 2024 and picked up four wins, but they’ve never had a match against each other – yet.
