A major update on Becky Lynch’s status for WWE SummerSlam 2023 on August 5 in Detroit, Michigan has emerged.
This comes after Lynch’s planned match against Trish Stratus was moved off SummerSlam and onto the August 14 episode of Raw due to time constraints.
PWInsider reported earlier this week that, despite the match being pulled, Lynch was in Detroit which is of course the host city of SummerSlam.
As it turns out, that’s NOT the case.
Lynch responded to that report by posting a selfie of her hanging out somewhere that definitely is not Detroit, sarcastically commenting:
Detroit has more palm trees and ocean than I remember.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has since confirmed with WWE that Lynch is not in Detroit and is not planned to be.
Lynch has seemingly voiced her displeasure about being left off SummerSlam, which you can read about at this link.
