UPDATE – An update on this story can be found at this link.

A popular former WWE star from the company’s attitude era has seemingly revealed that he has signed a new ‘nostalgia’ contract with the company.

One half of the Headbangers, Mosh (Charles Warrington), who won the WWE Tag Team Championship once alongside Thrasher, looks to have revealed via his Twitter that he has been offered and signed a nostalgia agreement with WWE.

Such an agreement has been known to allow WWE to to use a talent’s likeness, release merchandise and request them to make special appearances.

Whilst Mosh has not been an active WWE roster member since 2001, both him and Thrasher would make a startling comeback to WWE for a handful of matches on SmackDown Live in 2016.

Mosh is most known for his time in the Headbangers, but he would also team with D-Lo Brown as part of the Lo-Down team as well as an ill-advised solo run as Beaver Cleavage, something that is unlikely to ever see a comeback despite Mosh’s new legends deal.

While it remains to be seen what capacity WWE has Mosh involved, they recently called upon a number of WWE legends and Hall of Famers for the WWE Draft night one and two.

The returning names included Rob Van Dam, Eric Bischoff, JBL and Molly Holly among others.
