Tiffany Stratton Reacts To Becky Lynch Challenging Her For NXT Women’s Championship

Tiffany Stratton has commented for the first time on the biggest match of her career thus far being made official as she defends her NXT Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch on next week’s September 12 NXT.

After Stratton retained the title over Kiana James in the opening match of last night’s NXT, Becky Lynch popped up on the video screen and made the challenge for next week.

Sure enough, the match was later made official, and in response, Stratton sent a message to Lynch, tweeting:

BRING IT MISS BIG TIME

WWE also shared a backstage interview with Stratton, during which she said:

“You wanna know how I feel? I bet you’re all dying to know, right?

“Yeah, Becky Lynch is the biggest match of my career, but my career began two years ago. And Becky’s coming after me.

“Where was Becky’s career after two years? Nowhere. She was some circus monkey or working as some flight attendant. Certainly not at the top of the industry like I am.

“So Becky, you may be some WrestleMania main eventer, the number one superstar on Raw, SmackDown, and you may be Big Time Becks in your world, but I’m the center of the universe in mine.

“And next week, the NXT Women’s Championship isn’t going anywhere. See you next Tuesday, bitch. Toodles.”

A match between the two has been built for weeks with Stratton first mistakenly naming Lynch among a list of stars to hold the NXT Women’s Championship in the past, leading to Lynch responding on Twitter, saying that she hadn’t held the title… yet.

From then Stratton appeared in the front row on both last week’s Raw and WWE Payback, confronting Lynch in person in a backstage interview segment.
