VIDEO: Watch The Miz Make Insane Half-Court Shot In NBA Celebrity Game

There were dramatic scenes at the end of the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity game, with WWE star The Miz attempting an insane shot.

The A-Lister competed in the game on Team Ryan, led by Utah Jazz President Ryan Smith. They faced off against Team Dwayne, led by honorary captain and Jazz minority owner Dwyane Wade.

In the final moments of the game, Team Dwayne was leading by three points, with 81 points to Team Ryan’s 78.

With the ball in his hands, The Miz attempted a crazy buzzer beater from halfway up the court.

In an insane moment, the ball found the net. Unfortunately for the team, the basket wasn’t counted, but The Miz doesn’t seem too upset with the technicalities, tweeting:

The WWE star has also shared a video discussing the moment, pointing out that because there’s a four point line set a yard behind the traditional three point line in NBA’s All-Star Celebrity rules, his shot would’ve won the game for his team if he had taken it a fraction of a second earlier.

The Miz last wrestled on the February 13 edition of Raw, losing to Rick Boogs in singles action.
