Returning to NXT after a nearly two-year absence, Nattie has stated that she wants Jaida Parker to bring the fight after their recent match.

The June 16 episode of WWE NXT saw Nattie defeat Jaida Parker in somewhat dominant fashion, later seeing the main roster star seemingly form a new faction.

Following the match, Nattie was asked whether she would accept an apology and handshake from Jaida Parker during an appearance on Busted Open After Dark, with the WWE star being unequivocal in her response, saying:

“No, I’m slapping the s**t out of her. No, because what is that? Was she surrendering now? Bitch, you have a pity party. Dust yourself off and start fighting.

“I want her to fight back. Show me who you are. Show me that you’re hungry. Show me that you belong in this business. Because, guess what, you (Busted Open After Dark host Bully Ray) and I both understand that only a handful of people in this business, like, really belong in this business.

“You’ve gotta be the absolute very, very, very best to be here, so show me that you’re hungry, show me that you want that, show me that you’re willing to fight for everything.

“I want to feel her fight. I don’t want to feel her being submissive. I want to feel the Jaida Parker that I was dying, and desperate and begging to fight this girl, not somebody that’s scrolling through Twitter, looking at comments and f*****g having a pity party.”

Nattie would go on to reflect further on her match with Parker, noting an aspect of the hard-hitting affair in a follow-up on Twitter, sharing:

“I meant it when I said nobody has hit me harder in my career than @Jaida_Parkerwwe.

“Energy matching energy.

“But this isn’t the time to take your foot off the gas. I’m begging Jaida to show me what she’s made of.”

Prior to this week’s episode, Nattie last competed on NXT back in June 2024 as Natalya, defeating Izzi Dame.

Nattie Could Be Made For NXT

The hard-hitting, straight-speaking, technically-driven version of Natalya saw the WWE reborn on the independent wrestling scene last year.

The character would be brought to WWE television earlier this year, with a new focus for the star as she feuded with Maxxine Dupri.

Compared to her storied run as Natalya, Nattie is a breath of fresh air for the star, allowing her to be more intense and tap into a darker persona, while still demonstrating the technical masterclasses for which she has long been capable.

It could be argued that Nattie is a perfect fit for NXT, with a women’s roster of future Raw and SmackDown stars who would no doubt benefit from stepping into the ring with a long-serving, TV-seasoned veteran of this caliber.

For Nattie, it could also give her opportunities to create feuds that allow her to dominate in an arguably more focused way than the three-hour WWE Raw can offer, particularly with the much larger roster and multiple storylines that exist on the Monday night show.

It feels that NXT is a better fit for a more gritty, independent wrestling-leaning persona, despite being obviously under the WWE banner. With Nattie’s success over the likes of Miyu Yamashita, Masha Slamovich and Shayna Baszler at GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, bringing that energy to NXT is seemingly much less of a stretch than doing the same over on the main roster.

Indeed, NXT has previously embraced the Underground match concept, with no ropes and an MMA-styled ruleset that favors victory by submission or knockout, an ideal conclusion to any feud that Nattie enters.
