Britt Baker has qualified to enter The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament set the kick-off in the coming weeks.
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. took her hometown, ‘Brittsburgh’ by storm tonight, beating Danielle Kamela (an NXT alum formerly known as Vanessa Borne) to advance to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
The women’s bracket for the Owen Cup continues to take shape with the addition of Dr. Britt Baker.
Baker joins Ruby Soho, Red Velvet, Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter who have already also qualified to enter the tournament.
On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the first actual match for the tournament was announced to be Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter.
The Owen Hart Memorial Cup Tournament is currently announced to begin in May 2022 and will feature both a men’s and a women’s tournament to crown the inaugural winners at AEW’s Double or Nothing with plans for Dr. Martha Hart, Owen’s widow, to be in attendance at the event.
