The Future Of BritWres – 10 Stars You Need To Watch

9 – Gabriel Kidd

I was introduced to Gabriel Kidd at a time where he was a young, hopeful wrestler, with bright eyes – but a seeming inability to catch a break (or a win for that matter). A few years on, and Kidd is a completely different man. When Gabriel Kidd walks out to the ring, he carries an air with him almost as heavy as he is. This man is not about fun, or games, and he’s not here to wrestle for your pleasure, either. He’s built like an absolute tank, and grapples like one too.

It’s great that we’ve got so many lighter, high flying talents in the UK (and there’s even a few on this list), but Kidd is genuinely the antithesis of that – he’s mean, he’s not fast or pretty, and he really just looks like he could injure you very badly. The character shift was the best thing that could have happened to Gabriel Kidd, as some people simply suit being nasty – and he’s one of them, in the best possible way. Hopefully he can continue riding this recent wave of success and reach new heights.
