Yes, this has been covered to the point of exhaustion, but there’s a very good reason for it. The man is brilliant.
His NXT babyface run has been compared to that of Daniel Bryan’s “yes” movement, and now that he’s turned heel, everyone thinks he’s a d***. To be able to pull off both those characters – and also be a first class in-ring performer – is a very uncommon skill, but one that Zayn has in buckets.
The fact that he won this week’s fatal-5-way on SmackDown means he’s 100% not winning the title at Fastlane. Unbelievably, the latest news is that he and Kevin Owens are booked for the Andre the Giant Battle Royale at WrestleMania. What a total waste of time.
He hasn’t won a single title on the main roster, and if you look into US Law, that’s actually a very serious crime.
