AAA Talents To Move To WWE Main Roster

Since WWE acquired AAA last year, there has been plenty of crossover between the promotions with one-off appearances on Raw and SmackDown for numerous AAA talents.

However, we’ve yet to see anyone from AAA make a permanent move to either of the main roster shows, and while WWE is still growing the AAA brand and likely wouldn’t want to take any of its top stars away, there may come a point that someone in AAA hits a ceiling that can only be surpassed by moving to the US.

Here are five AAA talents who could potentially make the move over to the WWE main roster.

5. Money Machine

The Money Machine tag team has been appearing regularly on AAA programming since WWE took over with Undertaker and Jeremy Borash at the helm of creative.

Colmillo De Plata and Garra De Oro have shown themselves to be an entertaining package with a gimmick that would fit right in on WWE TV.

At 35 and 37, there’s still plenty of time for them to establish themselves on a mainstream level.

Especially with the dire state of the WWE tag team division right now, the addition of Money Machine would be beneficial for everyone involved.

4. Dinamico

Dinamico is a bit of a wildcard as he certainly isn’t one of the biggest names on the AAA roster.

However, he’s been in matches with plenty of notable stars recently, including El Hijo Del Vikingo, Lola Vice & Mr Iguana, and the Wagner brothers.

He’s come out on the losing side of all those matches, but it just feels like Dinamico has something more to offer and could be a potential future star.

With plenty of time to develop at 32 years old, Dinamico could be one to watch for the future.

3. Tokyo Bad Boys

The Tokyo Bad Boys are an exciting trio and looked to be factored into plans to start some kind of trios tournament or division in AAA a few months ago – but it seems that idea has been put on the backburner.

Still, TBB have plenty to offer in both the six-man and tag team divisions, and could continue to expand out of Mexico and Japan.

Maybe there’s even a chance they could be brought into WWE by Shinsuke Nakamura who recently teased that he has some allies on the way.

Another three talents with age on their side, it could be an interesting few years for the former GLEAT G-Infinity Champions.

2. Mini Vikingo

Mini Vikingo is already catching the eyes of major names in WWE, as he was namedropped by Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk during the SummerSlam post-show.

Despite only just turning 18, Mini Vikingo has been pushed heavily in AAA as of late, going on a winning streak before losing an ultra competitive Cruiserweight Title match against SmackDown’s Rey Fenix.

Punk namedropping him at SummerSlam is proof that important people have their eyes on him, so expect to see Mini Vikingo across all arms of WWE programming in the not too distant future.

And WWE should not wait for him to get any older just for the sake of him becoming ‘more seasoned’ – why not bring him in while he’s 18 and let him be something special?

1. Elijah Holyfield

If there’s anyone who’s almost certain to move from AAA to the WWE main roster, it might be Elijah Holyfield.

The son of boxing legend Evander, Elijah has featured on WWE LFG and Evolve over the past year or so, but hasn’t made an official debut on NXT TV.

On the latest episode of LFG, Shawn Michaels informed Holyfield that he was being transferred over to AAA in similar fashion to Drake Morreaux.

Holyfield hasn’t appeared on AAA programming as of this writing, but will probably be doing so in the very near future – a move that is most likely an alternative way to get him prepared for the WWE main roster as opposed to working in NXT.
