An update has been provided on an injured WWE star ahead of tonight’s July 21 edition of SmackDown.

As previously reported, Bayley suffered an injury during a WWE live event over the weekend that saw the star have to leave the arena on crutches.

Despite social media posts, there has been little in the way of updates in regards to Bayley’s health following the injury.

PWInsider reports that Bayley is backstage and is slated to appear alongside Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

The report notes that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion is currently not scheduled to wrestle on the show.

Bayley last wrestled on WWE programming on the July 14 episode of WWE SmackDown in a win over Zelina Vega.
