Per PWInsider, MJF has not been spotted backstage at the T-Mobile Arena for tonight’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
AEW appears to have also removed the promo video for the match from YouTube, after deleting a tweet advertising the match.
This all comes after MJF no-showed a ticketed AEW Fan Fest meet & greet, with a security guard informing fans that MJF hadn’t shown up and wasn’t answering his phone.
Reports then emerged stating that there was a plane flight booked for MJF to leave Las Vegas on a cross-country flight, however MJF reportedly did not board the plane.
This all comes after reports indicating that MJF is legitimately unhappy with his current AEW contract.
MJF was slated to wrestle Wardlow at the pay-per-view in a high-stakes match, with Wardlow unable to ever sign with AEW if he lost to his former stablemate.
We will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available.
