Jinder Mahal has seen his popularity on Twitter skyrocket thanks to AEW’s Tony Khan and his recent social media tirade.
Mahal’s position as a contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was called into question by Tony Khan on social media.
This led to quite the reaction on Twitter resulting in Jinder Mahal being a trending topic in the wake of the post.
The Modern Day Maharaja has responded previously, although would delete the tweet in which he asked:
“Who tf is Hook?”
Hook was, of course, the AEW star that Tony Khan compared to Mahal when it came to world championship opportunities, comparing their very different win-loss records.
Taz, the father of the current FTW Champion, would respond to the question with a one-word answer of his own.
Since then, Mahal has shared a GIF of himself watching a screen backstage and being a bit angry that he chose to post during the January 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Now he’s updated his own Twitter bio to reflect the attention he’s been getting courtesy of Khan.
As you can see from the screenshot below, at the time of writing, Mahal’s Twitter bio is now simply a goat emoji, reflecting the number of people that have jokingly referred to him as the GOAT after his recent activity.
Rhea Ripley was among the WWE stars who reacted to the social media drama.
