On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, a cinematic video aired featuring a meeting between Roman Reigns and CM Punk, moderated by Paul Heyman.
Last week, Heyman returned with Punk in tow as the fifth man for the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series ‘WarGames’.
The meeting didn’t get off to the best start as CM Punk was late, but just as Reigns had grown frustrated enough to leave, Punk arrived.
Reigns told CM Punk that he doesn’t need Punk’s help with Punk – but Punk countered by explaining he’s not there to help Reigns, he’s there to help Paul Heyman.
Reigns said to Punk: “I don’t like your tone, I don’t like your attitude, and I don’t like you”, declaring that he didn’t want to team with Punk at Survivor Series.
However, Heyman pled with Roman Reigns to accept the help from CM Punk, adding “Respectfully – divided, we all fall to Solo. United, at best, we survive”.
Punk reiterated that he doesn’t care if Reigns likes him or not, because he’s only doing this to get revenge for what Solo and his crew did to Heyman.
Before exiting, Punk made it clear that Heyman owes him a big favor.
After Punk had left, when Reigns asked Heyman what the favor would be, Heyman declined to elaborate and rather said that they should get through Survivor Series first and then they would “have all the time in the world to talk about it.”
