Having been out of WWE in-ring action since March 2022, Big E could be set for a return in the very near future according to a recent report.
Big E has been off WWE TV following a neck injury in March 2022 that would require surgery and extensive rehabilitation.
He hasn’t wrestled since suffering fractures to his C1 and C6 vertebrae on the March 11 edition of SmackDown, though has been involved in WWE’s recruitment and development programme.
Writing in the current issue of Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), Dave Meltzer revealed that Big E could be returning, writing:
“I don’t think if anything will come of this or if Kingston’s injury changes this, but we had heard of an idea for E to be at WrestleMania and the three of them would come out together if that would be the right thing to do and if E could come back soon.”
Kofi Kingston is set to get surgery following his recent ankle injury that has written him off television.
Ridge Holland received abuse and death threats from some WWE fans following the accident with Big E, as he revealed recently.
Big E’s New Day teammate Xavier Woods addressed fans who had chosen to make these posts asking them to use their “energy to do something positive.”
