New AEW Signings After Redemption 2026

All Elite Wrestling has been quite busy in the free agency department throughout 2026 with a number of new signings.

From former WWE stars to those who have made their name outside of the promotion, AEW has further solidified themselves as one of the best rosters in all of pro wrestling right now.

Considering the number of talent that are now free agents following the end of their WWE non-compete clause, fans could see some notable stars coming into All Elite Wrestling following the Redemption 2026 pay-per-view.

Here are seven new potential AEW signings after Redemption 2026.

7. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley)

After leaving TNA Wrestling in 2024, there was a lot of attention and discussion about where The Motor City Machine Guns would head next.

Following a number of months, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley signed with WWE and quickly became one of the best tag teams in the company. Winning the WWE Tag Team Champions in only their third match, MCMG showcased why they are so influential.

However, Sabin and Shelley were part of the April 24 WWE releases after just under two years with the promotion.

Considering how much AEW wanted to bring them in when they were available last time, The Motor City Machine Guns could be even bigger in this company than they did in WWE if they decide to sign following Redemption.

6. Joe Gacy

Someone that might be a bit under the radar as far as prospects following their WWE release is Joe Gacy.

While he has played specific roles on WWE NXT and the main roster, Gacy is a versatile performer who can deliver in the ring and as a character.

Considering his connections with the likes of MJF and Jon Moxley, it would not be surprising to hear AEW having interest in the former WWE star.

With all of the different roles he can play in AEW or even Ring of Honor, Gacy could excel in a way that he was never given the opportunity to in WWE.

5. Dani Luna

Dani Luna looked poised to have a breakout year in TNA Wrestling at the start of 2026, but this was not meant to be unfortunately.

Then in March, Luna requested and was granted her release for TNA after just over two years with the company.

Considering her success in TNA and on the independent scene, Luna feels like someone who should get some attention from one of the major promotions.

The TNA Wrestling and WWE alumnus signing with AEW would be interesting and offer the company a potential breakout star in the women’s division that can further bolster their ranks in a significant way.

4. Kairi Sane

One of the most shocking names that was part of the latest round of mass talent cuts in WWE is Kairi Sane.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion had been one of the most underrated in-ring performers in the women’s division.

Considering her talents and everything she has done in the business, AEW would be wise to inquire about Kairi’s availability.

Bringing a decorated Joshi legend would be beneficial to every single member of the AEW women’s division and create some exciting new matches for the months to come.

3. Leon Slater

For months, Leon Slater leaving TNA Wrestling and heading to WWE was a foregone conclusion to many fans.

However, it now seems this is in a bit of a doubt with recent reports indicating that AEW has some interest in the youngest TNA X-Division Champion of all time.

“The Youngest In Charge” has had some standout moments and spots on WWE TV as part of the working relationship, so it would be intriguing to see him use this exposure to get a better deal from All Elite Wrestling.

With AEW All In London 2026 on the horizon in his home country, Slater could shock the world again by showing up in Wembley Stadium to let the world know that he is officially “#ALLELITE.”

2. Sheamus

To the surprise of many fans, recent reports have indicated that Sheamus is leaving WWE and will become a free agent later this year.

“The Celtic Warrior” has showcased himself to be one of the best in-ring performers in WWE over the past few years and might want to showcase his skills outside of the company’s banner.

Sheamus moving from WWE to AEW would be an enticing scenario that could see him mix it up with the likes of Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher.

With the chance to see him reunite with his former Bar teammate Claudio Castagnoli, Sheamus heading to AEW feels like a compelling route to go in what could be his final run in the pro wrestling business.

1. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)

There has been no other WWE departure that stunned fans in 2026 more than The New Day.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were always considered WWE lifers, but now they will be free agents in just a matter of days.

Since the announcement of their WWE exit, fans have been speculating about The New Day potentially signing with All Elite Wrestling.

Coming off the heels of Redemption 2026 and with Wembley on the horizon, it makes sense for The New Day to come into the company either on the road to or at the AEW All In London 2026 pay-per-view.
