Coming out of WrestleMania 42, the title pictures across both WWE Raw and SmackDown look much different now.

There are stars who recently won titles and those who are starting to find their stride as the current titleholders.

From legendary champions starting a new run with gold to established stars getting the hang of their current reign, these champions can be ranked by how the fans view them, their titles and the direction of the current stint with the gold.

Here are our rankings for every current WWE champion’s reign.

11. The Vision’s Logan Paul & Austin Theory’s World Tag Team Championship Reign

Austin Theory previously also held WWE tag team gold with Grayson Waller

On the March 30 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory defeated The Usos in a New York City Street Fight to win the World Tag Team Championship.

Since then, Paul and Theory have not yet defended the titles on WWE Raw or on a premium live event.

While the Street Profits have returned to bolster the tag team title picture, it seems like The Vision are hesitant to grant them a title opportunity.

Considering the reign started a month and a half ago without one title defense as well as the duo’s lack of experience as a pair, it is easy to rank The Vision’s current run with the World Tag Team Titles at the bottom of this list.

10. Paige & Brie Bella’s Women’s Tag Team Championship Reign

Paige left AEW in March 2025, returning to WWE just over a year later

Another tag team currently holding gold in WWE right now is Paige and Brie Bella.

At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Paige made her return to the company to replace Nikki Bella as Brie Bella’s partner to defeat The Irresistible Forces, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

After capturing the gold, Paige and Brie picked up their first successful title defense with a win over Nia Jax and Lash Legend on the May 1 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

With one title defense under their belt, that gives Paige and Bella the edge over the World Tag Team Champions The Vision, but their lack of experience as a pairing keeps them near the bottom of the ranking unfortunately.

9. Tiffany Stratton’s Women’s United States Championship Reign

Tiffany Stratton began her first reign as Women’s United States Champion on April 24

On the April 24 WWE SmackDown After WrestleMania 42, Tiffany Stratton defeated Giulia to win the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

Making her return to WWE after a few months off, Stratton has looked focused on gaining gold and has finally reached that goal.

Now that she has the title, Stratton is set to make her first defense of her newly won championship against Kiana James on the May 8 edition of SmackDown.

While it remains to be seen if she will survive this first defense, Stratton is someone who firmly established herself as a top star in the company with her WWE Women’s Championship reign in 2025 that puts her above the two previous tag champs.

8. Damian Priest & R-Truth’s WWE Tag Team Championship Reign

On the March 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Damian Priest and R-Truth defeated The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Since winning the gold, Priest and Truth have not backed down from any challengers for their titles.

Just over a month into their reign, the duo known as “Wepa Up” have already won four straight title matches on SmackDown.

With wins over The MFTs and Fraxiom, Priest and Truth only has their lack of experience holding them back from being higher up the ranking of current WWE titleholders.

7. Trick Williams’ United States Championship Reign

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Trick Williams defeated Sami Zayn to win the United States Championship.

Despite just winning the title, this felt like a huge moment for Williams with his meteoric rise being one of the main stories on Friday Night SmackDown since the start of 2026.

Williams is now set to defend the US Title against the former champion in Zayn at the upcoming WWE Backlash 2026 premium live event.

With this being his first defense of the gold, Trick could rise up this ranking, but for now, it places him right towards the middle of the pack for current champions.

6. Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship Reign

Liv Morgan is among the most popular and prominent stars on the current WWE roster.

At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.

This marked the first time Morgan has held the gold since her first run with this title that ended in January 2025.

Despite just winning the gold, Liv is regularly featured and is one of the biggest names on WWE Raw, putting him above less spotlighted talents with gold at the moment.

5. Rhea Ripley’s WWE Women’s Championship Reign

Rhea Ripley’s first opponent after winning the WWE Women’s Championship was NXT call-up Jacy Jayne

Another major talent on the WWE roster who recently regained championship gold is Rhea Ripley.

After over a year without a singles title, Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

There is little doubt that Ripley is one of, if not, the biggest female star on the WWE main roster today.

While she has not defended the title yet in this reign, Ripley is someone who just feels complete with a championship around her waist or over her shoulder.

4. Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship Reign

Someone else who just feels at home with a championship in her possession is Becky Lynch.

At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Lynch finally defeated AJ Lee for the first time to regain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the third time.

Since the creation of this title, “The Man” has to be considered the star who has defined the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

With this being her third reign, Lynch has already beaten former WWE Women’s World Champion IYO SKY, which puts her just above the current world champions in the women’s division at this time.

3. Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship Reign

Cody Rhodes was at one point planned to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania

Back on the March 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

This marked the third reign for Rhodes as WWE Champion over the past two years.

“The American Nightmare” went on to successfully defend the title against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

While this run is only two months old, there is no denying Cody is still one of the very top stars in the company and industry, deserving of placing higher than most on this ranking.

2. Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship Reign

Roman Reigns said he’ll be around in WWE all summer, but it has emerged that he will be away throughout June

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

This Night Two main event between Reigns and Punk has been praised as one of the greatest matches in Mania history since the show.

“The OTC” is now set to defend his title against Jacob Fatu at the WWE Backlash 2026 premium live event on May 9 in Tampa, Florida.

With this reign just getting started, Reigns can not be at the top of this ranking, but his status as the biggest star in the company places him right near the number one spot.

1. Penta’s WWE Intercontinental Championship Reign

Penta competed in Intercontinental Championship multi-man matches at consecutive WrestleManias

This may be a surprising top entry, but Penta has proven himself to be a fighting champion ever since winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

On the March 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, Penta picked up the win over Dominik Mysterio to win the IC Title.

Since this victory, Penta has successfully defended the gold six times, including against five other competitors in a Ladder Match at WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

There are quite a few contenders gunning for his gold, but Penta has proven himself to be someone who will be hard to overcome and looks to be determined to have a lasting legacy as the current Intercontinental Champion.
