Kenny Omega is in the midst of his second reign as the AEW World Champion right now.

Omega is set to defend the gold against Will Ospreay on Sunday, August 30 at AEW All In London 2026.

While most fans believe this will be Ospreay’s night, there is a possibility that “The Cleaner” could retain and lead to some new challengers emerging coming out of Wembley Stadium.

Here are eight potential Kenny Omega next AEW World Title challengers if he retains at All In London.

8. MJF

At AEW Dynamite: Beach Break 2026, Kenny Omega defeated MJF to win the AEW World Championship.

This ended MJF’s third reign as the champion, but it came under controversy according to him thanks to interference from Will Ospreay, who stopped him from using his Dynamite Diamond Ring in the match.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman made his return to the company at AEW Grand Slam Mexico with his Triple B AEW World Title belt, claiming to be the “One True Champion” in the company.

Now heading into the Men’s Casino Gauntlet at All In London, MJF feels like the odds-on favorite to win and get his rematch after Wembley Stadium.

7. Andrade El Idolo

Back in February 2026, Andrade El Idolo picked up one of his biggest wins in AEW when he defeated Kenny Omega.

After defeating a former AEW World Champion, El Idolo set his sights on the top prize in the promotion.

Despite going after the title since his return at the start of the year, Andrade has been unable to challenge for the gold as of yet.

Andrade challenging Omega would make for a logical title clash that could be a showstealer at any event.

6. Speedball Mike Bailey

Over the past few months, Speedball Mike Bailey has had his eyes on the AEW World Championship.

With AEW All In London 2026 looming, Bailey has threw his name in the hat to compete in the Men’s Casino Gauntlet.

Bailey has proven himself to be a fierce competitor that wants his opportunity at the top prize in the promotion.

After he told Bailey that he would give him a shot before he won, it would make sense for Omega to grant Speedball an opportunity at the AEW World Title following All In London 2026.

5. Jericho

Since returning to All Elite Wrestling in April 2026, Chris Jericho has been a net positive in comparison to his last run with the company.

The inaugural AEW World Champion has picked up wins over the likes of Ricochet and Tommaso Ciampa this year.

However, the win that might help him get a title shot was his first in AEW when he beat Kenny Omega in the main event of Double Or Nothing 2019.

Wanting to avenge this loss and win the rubber match, Omega might challenge Jericho for the gold coming out of the Wembley Stadium show on August 30.

4. Tommaso Ciampa

After signing with All Elite Wrestling, Tommaso Ciampa has established himself as one of the most prominent stars on the roster.

“The Psycho Killer” even challenged for the AEW World Title in a memorable bout against Darby Allin earlier this year.

Ciampa is another AEW star who has thrown his name in the hat for the Men’s Casino Gauntlet at All In London 2026.

With a win at Wembley Stadium, Ciampa might set up a tantalizing bout against Omega for the title in the near future.

3. Swerve Strickland

At the start of 2026, Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega crossed paths and got in each other’s way to the AEW World Championship.

This led to Strickland beating Omega in their first ever meeting and then turned heel with a vicious post-match attack.

“The Most Dangerous Man in AEW” found himself on the losing end when these two men met again with Omega beating Swerve to become the number one contender for the AEW World Title.

With this established history, a rubber match between Omega and Swerve could become one of the most anticipated AEW World Title bouts of 2026.

2. Kazuchika Okada

Speaking of highly anticipated rematches, Kazuchika Okada feels like someone who should be in the AEW World Title mix.

Back at AEW All In: Texas last year, Okada beat Kenny Omega to become the first ever AEW Unified Champion.

This tied up the record at two wins a piece in the legendary series of matches between Omega and Okada.

Now looking to prove who is the best once and for all, Omega and Okada could meet with the AEW World Title on the line in what should be one of the biggest main events in the company’s history.

1. Jon Moxley

When looking at legendary AEW feuds, the conversation should start and end with Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley.

Since Mox walked into All Elite Wrestling at Double Or Nothing 2019, he has been at odds with Omega.

After the two men have traded the AEW World Title and battled numerous times, Omega and Moxley once again have had more differences as of late in regards to Will Ospreay on the road to All In London 2026.

Regardless of who wins between Omega and Ospreay at Wembley, they should expect Moxley to be waiting as the next challenger for the AEW World Championship before long.
